Responsibilities
  • Receive, verify, label and process specimens according to approved procedures.
  • Perform routine haematology, chemistry, microbiology or related diagnostic testing.
  • Run quality-control checks, document exceptions and escalate critical or unusual results.
  • Maintain instruments, reagents, stock records and a safe, organised work area.
  • Support audits, proficiency testing and continuous improvement of laboratory processes.
Resquirements
Qualifications and experience
  • Recognised diploma or degree in medical laboratory science or biomedical analysis.
  • At least two years of diagnostic laboratory experience in a clinical setting.
  • Practical understanding of biosafety, quality control and equipment maintenance.
  • Ability to interpret procedures, keep traceable records and meet turnaround targets.
